Explore Sicamous GeoTour (GT4C4) has officially launched and ready for you to get out and discover the 25 caches located around the community.
what is geocaching?
Geocaching is a real-world, FREE outdoor treasure hunting game for ALL AGES using GPS-enabled devices.
Download the FREE GeoCache App onto your device (from you app store) and search for the Explore Sicamous Tour. Before you head out on the tour, grab your GeoTour Passport from the Sicamous Visitor Center (see below for hours of operation) to log your progress. Click the link to print the EXPLORE SICAMOUS GEOTOUR PASSPORT
Once you find the Explore Sicamous GeoTour (GT4C4) on the geocache app, participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates, read the clue and hint (if needed), then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.
Once you have found ALL 25 geocaches, log the secret CODE WORD (found on or inside the cache) in your passport and return to the Sicamous Visitor Center, or email the image/pdf to c.procyshyn@dosdc.ca. You will be mailed 1 of 200 collectible Explore Sicamous GeoTour silver coins (1 per household), AND on the last day of each month, all completed ExploreSicamous GeoTour Passports will be entered into a draw for a local prize pack!
