Event: Sicamous Witches Paddle 2025

Date: Saturday, October 18

Time: 2:00 PM (arrive a little early so we can all launch together)

Route: Launch from Sicamous Beach, paddle down the channel to Moose’s Pub, and back — or stay if you’ve got a ride or plan to hang out for a drink.

Bring the coven! The more witches and warlocks on the water — boards, brooms, and all — the more spectacular it looks each year.

Spectators: Can watch from the beach, Moose’s, or anywhere you can see between the two points.

Donations: We’ll be collecting goods and cash on location for Eagle Valley Community Support Society, or by e-transfer (use memo “WITCHES”). Donations over $50 are eligible for a tax receipt.

Extras:

• Best Costume Prize: Gift card donated by Moose’s Pub
• Group photo / costume prize moment: At Moose’s before paddlers head back
• On-water support: Thanks to RCMSR for once again volunteering their time to support the event
• If other people, groups, or businesses want to participate in any way or donate prizes, they can DM me — any positive involvement is welcome! (If we get more prizes, we can add more costume categories!)
